The University of Delaware opens its Lewes marine science campus to the public for Coast Day, a long-standing fall tradition on the first Sunday in October. The day showcases coastal and ocean research through exhibits, demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.
Coast Day follows Saturday’s Boast the Coast Maritime Festival in downtown Lewes, making for a full maritime weekend. See the University of Delaware’s event page for the 2026 schedule.
