Editing Your Agent Profile

Keep your public-facing profile accurate, professional, and up to date — your photo, bio, contact info, service areas, and designations all display on your agent page and on every listing you’re associated with.

What Your Profile Controls

Your agent profile populates your public agent page at theparkergroup.com/agents/your-name, the agent card shown on every listing you represent, and the contact info buyers use to reach you. Keeping it complete and current makes a direct impression on clients — treat it like a digital business card.

Step-by-Step

1
Navigate to Your Dashboard

Go to theparkergroup.com and sign in. Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then select Dashboard.

You must be logged in with your agent account. If you see a generic “Sign In” button, you’re not currently logged in.

2
Open Profile Settings

From your Dashboard, locate the My Profile section or click the Edit Profile button near your name and photo at the top of the Dashboard. This opens your profile editor.

3
Update Your Profile Photo

Click the profile photo area or the Change Photo button. Upload a new headshot from your computer. Best practices:

  • Use a recent, professional headshot — good lighting, neutral background preferred
  • Square or portrait orientation works best (the site crops to a circle)
  • Minimum recommended size: 400 × 400px
  • Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WebP

Your photo appears on all active listings. Upload a change only when you have a quality replacement ready — clients see this photo on every listing card.

4
Edit Your Bio

The About / Bio field is your primary narrative. Write in first person, keep it warm and professional, and focus on your experience, specialties, and why clients choose you.

Tips for a strong bio:

  • Lead with your most compelling credential or years of experience
  • Mention specific areas or property types you specialize in
  • Keep it between 100–300 words — long enough to be credible, short enough to be read
  • Avoid jargon; write as if speaking to a first-time buyer

The bio field supports basic formatting. Use short paragraphs rather than one large block of text for easier reading on mobile.

5
Verify Contact Information

Check and update the following contact fields. These display publicly on your agent page and on listing contact forms:

  • Phone — your direct mobile or office line; this is what buyers tap to call you
  • Email — your preferred contact email
  • Office — The Parker Group office location, if applicable

Your login email and your public contact email may differ. Double-check that the contact email field shows the address you want clients to use.

6
Update Social Media Links

Add or update links to your professional social profiles. These appear as icon links on your agent page:

  • Facebook — paste the full URL to your professional page or profile
  • Instagram — paste your profile URL or just your @handle
  • LinkedIn — your professional profile URL

Leave any field blank if you don’t use that platform — the icon won’t display if the field is empty.

7
Set Your Service Areas

The Service Areas field lists the counties, cities, or regions you actively work in. This helps buyers searching by area find the right agent.

  • List areas separated by commas: e.g., Kent County, Sussex County, Dover, Milford
  • Be specific enough to be useful, but broad enough to capture your actual range
  • Include both county and key city names when relevant

8
Add Designations & Certifications

List any professional designations (e.g., REALTOR®, ABR, CRS, GRI, SRS) in the Designations field. These display as credential badges on your agent page.

Only list designations you currently hold and have completed the required coursework or membership for. These are visible to the public.

9
Save Your Changes

Click the Save Profile (or Update Profile) button at the bottom of the form. You should see a green confirmation message when the save is successful.

After saving, visit your public agent page to verify the changes look correct: theparkergroup.com/agents/your-name.

Changes take effect immediately on your public agent page and on all listings you’re associated with. No admin approval is required.

Troubleshooting

My photo updated in the editor but still shows the old one on the site.
Try a hard refresh on your browser (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows). If it still shows the old photo, clear your browser cache or try an incognito window — the new image may be cached locally.

I don’t see an “Edit Profile” button on my Dashboard.
Make sure you’re logged in as an agent account, not a buyer or general account. If you’re logged in and still don’t see the button, contact The Parker Group admin — your account may need the Agent role assigned.

My bio changes aren’t saving.
Make sure you clicked the Save Profile button and saw the green success confirmation. If you navigate away before saving, changes are lost. If the save button isn’t responding, try refreshing the page — your session may have expired and you’ll need to log back in.

I need to change my display name or email address.
Display name and login email changes require admin access. Contact The Parker Group admin team directly — they can update these fields from the backend to ensure they’re changed correctly across all records.
