Rehoboth Beach has specific STR licensing requirements, while areas outside incorporated towns generally have fewer restrictions. Generally yes. Delaware has no state income tax, lower property tax rates than both Maryland and New Jersey, and a favorable transfer tax structure — especially on new construction. Sussex County has some of the lowest effective property tax rates on the entire East Coast.
