From Frustrated Seller to Trusted Advisor

Before real estate, my life looked a lot different.

I was a stay-at-home mom, helping my husband run his construction company, and running my own small business from home making custom t-shirts and hair bows. I loved being home with my family and building something of my own, but I didn’t necessarily see real estate in my future at that point.

That all changed after my husband and I bought our first investment property.

The Experience That Changed Everything

We purchased a property, fixed it up, and were ready to sell it — our first real project. We hired an agent through a recommendation, thinking we were in good hands.

At first, everything seemed fine. But after that initial meeting… we never heard from him again.

Every bit of communication went through an assistant who wasn’t even licensed. When offers started coming in, we were completely lost. We didn’t know how to respond, what a strong counter offer looked like, or what strategy made the most sense.

And the one person we trusted to guide us through it? Nowhere to be found.

I remember thinking, there is no way this is how this process is supposed to feel.

The Moment Everything Shifted

After that experience, I said something that completely changed my path: We are never going through that again.

At first, it was about wanting to handle our own real estate deals moving forward. But quickly, it became something bigger. I realized there were probably so many other people going through the exact same thing — feeling confused, unsupported, and unsure of what to do during one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

That didn’t sit right with me. So I decided to get my real estate license.

How That Experience Shaped the Way I Work Today

That experience is the reason I approach every client the way I do now.

Because I know what it feels like to be on the other side — unsure, overwhelmed, and wishing someone would just explain things clearly.

So I make sure my clients never feel that way. I walk them through their options every step of the way. I break down what to expect before it happens. I help them understand not just what they’re doing, but why they’re doing it.

Because this isn’t just about buying or selling a house. It’s about helping people make confident decisions that impact their future.

Why This Matters

Real estate is more than a series of transactions to me.

It’s about trust. It’s about guidance. And honestly… it’s about making sure no one feels the way I felt during that first experience.

If you’re buying or selling a home in Sussex County, Delaware, you deserve to feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way. That’s exactly what I’m here to do.
